COMPANY PROFILE

Delta Marine Services Limited is a marine consultancy and surveying firm, offering liquid and dry cargo consultancy services primarily to ship owners, P & I clubs, underwriters, lawyers, loss adjusters, risk assessment and safety consulting services.

 The Company’s services are in two major aspects - cargo and marine. From general cargo surveys to perform investigation on marine casualties, damage to hull and machinery of ocean-going vessels, motor launches, pleasure crafts, barges and cargoes of all varieties, transit and mysterious losses and fraudulent claims, cargo claims adjustment and settlement of cargo and liability claims in accordance with instructions from insurers, marine insurance claims settlement and recoveries, investigation on body injury, fatal accidents and third party liability claims.

 All Delta Marine surveyors/consultants have extensive experience and knowledge in the cargo & marine surveying field, our personnel are qualified to provide clients with professional expert service. We do pride ourselves in being youthful and progressive in our outlook particularly when it comes to serving and respecting the client. Peter obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in 1986 and then his Postgraduate Certificate of Laws from the University of Hong Kong in 1987. He was an Inspector in the Customs and Excise Department before joining the legal profession in 1987. He started his career path as Marine Engineer onboard ocean-going vessel. As a founding partner of Hau, Lau, Li and Yeung, Peter’s major emphasis of practice is in merger and acquisitions, corporate, real estate development projects and related financial arrangements, conveyancing, intellectual property and PRC related commercial projects. He was one of the legal advisors of the Disciplined Services Consultative Council (staff side) and the Association of Customs and Excise Services Officers, President of Lions Club and Chairman of Old Boys’ Association of St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese School.
